Welcome to Berks County's beautiful park system. We have 12 parks for you to visit and enjoy, including Gring's Mill Recreation Area, the Union Canal Walking & Bicycle Trail, Kaercher Creek Park and the Berks County Heritage Center. We offer recreation and educational programs year-round. Whether you enjoy summer concerts in the park, festivals or historical programs, we have something for everyone of all ages!

Mission Statement
The Berks County Parks & Recreation Department is charged with the development, operation, and maintenance of all the County-owned Parks, recreation facilities, and historic sites. The Department is responsible for providing recreational opportunities as well as addressing the interpretive and educational needs as related to these facilities. |
