ARD DUI Rules

Defense counsel is responsible for having all the above documents sent to their clients, signed, and returned to the Court via a special email developed solely for this purpose.  No other communication should be sent to this email address.   Please direct any additional questions to Owen Scott in Adult Probation (oscott@countyofberks.com) or Penny Cushing (pcushing@countyofberks.com) in my chambers.  When all the documents are collected, they should be returned to LillisARD@countyofberks.com.  There should be ONE email with ALL documents for each defendant.  Again, one email one defendant.  If the documents are not received, your client cannot be placed on ARD.

IF ANY DEFENDANT IS NOT AGREEABLE TO PROCEEDING WITH ARD PLACEMENT VIA VIDEO CONFERENCING, DEFENSE COUNSEL MUST ADVISE CHAMBERS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED COURT DATE AND THAT CASE WILL BE CONTINUED.

The week prior to the court date, defense counsel will receive a meeting invitation for the specific time of your groups ARD placement.
